When January rolls around we all start thinking about “the diet” or “back to the gym.” January is known as Financial Wellness Month, Get a Balanced Life Month, and Get Organized Month. However, it’s also known as the National Be On-Purpose Month – and that got us thinking. What would it look like if we were purposeful (intentional) about taking care of our Mind, our Body, and our Spirit? What would happen if we changed the negative thought patterns so many of us carry around in our minds and replaced them with thoughts leading to strength, wellness, goodness, and compassion for ourselves and others? What if this was the year we purposely took care of our bodies to help us be all that we can be, not just smaller (and hungry)? And what would it look like if we purposely nurtured our souls by really finding love and acceptance for all that we are, not hatred for what we are not?
Here at Uplift, we want to support you – Mind, Body, and Spirit. On January 1st we saw this post (below) in several places. We don’t know where it started or who wrote it, but it speaks beautifully to what we want for you – for us – for 2021. Let’s do this, together!
